WaveRunners

We are excited to have Coach Schreer back for his 13th year as the head coach of the WaveRunners. He brings with him over 35 years of competitive swimming and coaching at all levels here in Georgia.

Coach Schreer is currently the Head Swim & Dive Coach at Pope High School. Before taking over as head coach, he served as an assistant coach at Pope from 2009-2016. Prior to that, he was the Varsity Men's Assistant Coach at Woodward Academy from 2007-2009.

His career as a swim coach began as the Head Coach at Milford Chase from 2002-2006. From there, he moved to the Briarcliff Woods/Sagamore Barracudas in DeKalb County where he coached from 2007-2013. He then came to join the Waverunners and has been at Arthur's Vineyard since 2014.

Coach Schreer has been swimming since he was 6 years old on his neighborhood swim team and had a 20 year competitive career including summer swim league, USA Swimming with the Stingrays, Collegiate Club Swimming at Georgia Tech and USA Swimming Masters.

Hi! My name is Mia Kunst, and this will be my sixth year coaching at Arthur’s Vineyard. I have been in the water and on swim teams since I was three years old, including many years of year-round competitive swimming. My goal is to help kids discover how fun swimming can be while building skills they can carry with them for life. I’m so excited to see returning swimmers and meet new ones!

Hi! I'm Lucy Coulter, and this will be my third year coaching for Arthur’s Vineyard Waverunners! I am a rising senior at Pope High School, where I also swim for Coach Schreer. Swimming has been a huge part of my life, and it all started right here at Arthur's Vineyard. I'm so excited to share my passion for the sport and help make this a fun, successful season for everyone! 

Hello, my name is AJ and this will be my second year coaching at Arthur’s Vineyard and first as an assistant. I have had the pleasure of swimming under Schreer for eight years at Arthur’s Vineyard and 2 at Pope. This past school year I represented Pope at the Georgia 5A state swim meet. Outside of swimming I play both baseball and water polo. I can’t wait to help coach Arthur’s Vineyard to another successful season.

Hi! I’m Rees Thompson and I am a rising junior at Pope High School where I swim for Coach Schreer. I’ve been swimming since I was 5 years old and have been part of Arthur’s Vineyard since I was 7. This is my second year coaching, and I’m so excited to be back helping swimmers grow, gain confidence, and have fun this season!

Hi my name is Noah Thomas and I have been doing competitive swimming for 10 years. I am so excited for what this upcoming season brings!

Hi my name is Cameron and this will be my first year coaching at Arthur’s Vineyard. I’m a rising junior at Pope High School and am on the swim team under Coach Schreer. I represented Pope at the 5A state meet. I can’t wait to help coach for a great season!
